We offer exciting volunteering opportunities to college students, young professionals and anybody else keenly interested in development and human rights issues. The nature of these volunteering opportunities could be:
Illustration, Designing and Communication support
Organising documentary film screenings and publicity
Campaigning and documentation support to people's movements in Delhi
Cataloguing of print and audio visuals at the Kriti Information Place and Kriti Film Club
Outreach and sale of eco-friendly and community made products by women's and children's groups - as part of Gestures, a livelihoods project run by Kriti.
Helping hand at festivals and other events
Filing or other coordination work that may be required within the team
We offer a structured internship programme designed to provide exposure to
diverse threads of social, development and environment thought and action.
This would be weaved around research, documentation, development
communication and design, film making, photography, livelihood enterprise,
social media and website support, etc.
An academic background in development studies, social work, social
entrepreneurship, sociology, political science, anthropology, literature,
management, economics, art, communication and film making is preferred.

the capacity for hard work, learning, listening and taking initiative in different arenas of work in the KRITI team.
an ability to do administrative and often monotonous work along with intellectually stimulating and creative work.
computer skills - basic to professional.
command over written and spoken English and Hindi. Working knowledge of a regional Indian language would be an added advantage.
We would require from you (at least two of the following):
an expression of interest in working with us, identifying why you would like to volunteer with us, and for how long.
a brief profile of your personal and other interests and qualifications.
a recent sample of written work/ tutorial (published or unpublished work), if any.
